Ließem-Foundation grants full scholarship for studying at the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef
Fotios Sepidis is of Greek origin and lives in Troisdorf. He attended the Heinrich-Böll-Gymnasium, which he finished with an excellent GPA last summer. In the winter semester 2009 he took up his bachelor studies in the field of aviation management at the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef · Bonn. Fotios Sepidis is a member of the board of the Greek community of Rhein-Sieg-Kreis and he speaks German, Greek, English, Russian, Latin and French.
The chancellor of the International University of Applied Sciences, Georg Ummenhofer, stressed, that scholarships are a vital part in supporting young people from financially weak backgrounds to attain a professional education. Ließem-Foundations’ full scholarships grant the payment of expenses of study fees as well as expenses for studying abroad and the necessary study materials for up to five study beginners.
With its establishment in 2005, by last will of Margareta Ließem, the Ließem-Foundation advances needy young people through focused coaching, the catching up of graduations, continuous training and financial support of their studies. The cooperation agreement with the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef · Bonn was signed in 2007. Currently there are still funds available for three further full scholarships.
