Aviation Management - Bachelor of Arts
The study programme in Aviation Management teaches students the core issues of business administration in the aviation industry. Students learn about the industry’s specific characteristics, regulations and mechanisms and have courses in more general business management. Research and project work deepen this knowledge. By graduation, students have an excellent academic education and a perfect starting point for their international career in aviation.
In 2001, the International University was the first European university to introduce a study programme in Aviation Management. The programme’s strong academic focus together with integrated practical components have received praise from the industry.
Our language of tuition is English, our atmosphere is international and our study programmes are directed towards making our students highly employable. Our international professors use their practical experience to teach aviation through case studies, project works and theory; students are trained to apply this knowledge immediately upon graduation.

Lufthansa Cargo Environment Award goes to International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef students
With its company-wide program „Cargo Climate Care“, Lufthansa Cargo is committed to the sustainable protection of the environment and climate. The „Cargo Climate Care Award 2009“ honors participants who developed innovative approaches for the improvement of the carbon footprint in air cargo. Two students from the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef were awarded first price for young academics in the category “logistics”. The students developed a concept for the automation and simplification of ground handling and transportation of air palettes and containers. The research award for young academics was endowed with 10.000 Euros. Congratulations to our students!
