Students win Leading Hotel Schools of the World contest with their concept of the „Suite of the year 2028“

In 2008 the Leading Hotel Schools of the World (LHSW) invited students of its member schools to participate in the contest “Project 2028”, and present their version of a hotel suite in the year 2028.

Three students from the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef · Bonn (the only German member university in the prestigious Leading Hotel Schools of the World group) accepted the challenge and developed a suite, which combines elements from biology, psychology and technology. The winning team convinced the jury from the Leading Hotel Schools of the World, New York, with a suite, in which hidden technology dominates, positive design influences the subconscious and only environmentally friendly materials are being used. LHSW awarded the students with a three-day trip to Prague inclusive of overnight stays in one of the Leading Hotels of the World. Congratulations to our students!
