Work Clothing
For the practical programme you will need a cook’s uniform and a set of knives. The cost for these equipment amount to approx. € 180.-.
Fixed payment for lunch
All students can have lunch on the campus. The fixed payment for meals covers a hot lunch from Mondays to Fridays during the lecture periodes in the first two study years. The costs amount to € 600.- for one semester.
Notebook
For studying at the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef · Bonn students need a personal notebook. Depending on the equipment involved, the costs range from € 800.- to € 2,500.-.

Semester Ticket
This ticket entitles the holder to use the public transport system within the Verkehrsverbund Rhein-Sieg (association of transport companies covering Cologne, Bonn and the neighbouring districts, see www.vrsinfo.de for more information). The costs amount in 2009 to approximately € 95.- for one semester.
Parking Fees
Parking space (if available) can be rented for 6 months for a monthly fee of approx. € 20.-.
Further additional costs may also be incurred, e.g. for books, copies/printouts, field trips, sightseeing tours, visits of trade fairs, etc.
